Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be working under the head housekeeper and responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or hospital environments to utilise their skills in a professional setting.
Duties
Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, corridors, restrooms, and communal spaces.
Utilise appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals to ensure high standards of hygiene and safety.
Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning routines.
Follow health and safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or contamination.
Assist with specialised cleaning tasks as required, including deep cleans
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within scheduled timeframes while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements
Proven experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or hospital environments is highly desirable.
willing to work flexible. When no guests are at Gairnshiellodge this can be a 9-5 job, when guests are in there can be flexible hours asked .
Ability to work independently with supervision while adhering to strict cleanliness standards.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
A proactive attitude towards maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
Previous experience in hospital settings is advantageous but not essential. This role is ideal for motivated individuals committed to delivering exceptional cleanliness standards in diverse settings. We value professionalism, reliability, and a keen eye for detail in all our team members.
Pay: Up to £12.75 per hour
